‘Excellent event!’ ‘Personally I believe this event was very effective, insightful and educational. It’d be great to arrange this type of events in the future.’ These are just some of the responses to the first DACT Academy, attended on one or both days by 115 participants at the Van der Valk in Breukelen. We kicked off on Monday 3 October with an insightful session by Saul van Beurden on cybersecurity at one of the largest global banks and interesting discussions on the Triple Bottom Line. Joris Luyendijk closed the day elaborating on ‘the seven ticks’, followed by dinner and drinks. On Tuesday, participants could choose between different sessions such as inclusive leadership and soft skills programming, project financing, Basel IV and much more. Of course, during both days there were also plenty of moments to meet and chat. With an average score of 8.3 for the programme and 8.9 for the location, we can look back proudly on these extremely enjoyable and enlightening days and hope to welcome more participants next year.
